Wrapping up the year

With summer just around the corner, please review the following information regarding the last days of the 2017-18 school year in the City School District of ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­.  

ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­

The last day of classes at ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ High is Monday, June 11. Regents exams will be given from Tuesday, June 12 through Thursday, June 21. For a complete schedule of Regents exams and review classes, please visit ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ High's website and select Regents Review Calendar from the Students dropdown menu.  

Graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2018 will be Sunday, June 24 at the Times Union Center beginning at 2 p.m.

Middle schools

Thursday, June 21 will be the last day of classes for students at William S. Hackett Middle School, Stephen and Harriet Myers Middle School and Edmund J. O’Neal Middle School of Excellence.

Moving-up ceremonies for all eighth-graders will be Friday, June 22 at the following times:

  • Hackett -- 9 a.m.  
  • Myers -- 10 a.m.  
  • O’Neal -- 10 a.m.  

Elementary schools

All elementary schools will end the school year with half-days on Thursday, June 21 and Friday, June 22. Please check the district calendar or each school's website for the dates and times of moving-up ceremonies. Dismissal times on the final days of school June 21-22 are as follows:  

  • ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ School of Humanities (ASH) – 11:45 a.m.
  • Arbor Hill Elementary School – 12:50 p.m.
  • Delaware Community School – 12:50 p.m.
  • Eagle Point Elementary School – 11:45 a.m.
  • Giffen Memorial Elementary School – 12:50 p.m.
  • Montessori Magnet School – 11:45 a.m.
  • New Scotland Elementary School – 12:50 p.m.
  • North ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ Academy – noon
  • Pine Hills Elementary School – 11:45 a.m.
  • Schuyler Achievement Academy – 12:50 p.m.
  • Sheridan Preparatory Academy – 11:45 a.m.
  • Thomas O’Brien Academy of Science and Technology (TOAST) – 11:45 a.m.​  

ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ International Center

The last day of classes for high school students at ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ International Center is Monday, June 11. Regents exams from Tuesday, June 12 through Thursday, June 21 will be held at ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­.  

The last day of classes for middle school students at AIC is Thursday, June 21.  

A moving-up ceremony for AIC eighth-grade students will be held at AIC on Friday, June 22 at 9 a.m.    

Tony Clement Center for Education

The last day of classes for high school students at Clement is Monday, June 11. Regents exams will be held at Clement from Tuesday, June 12 through Thursday, June 14.  

The last day of classes for middle school students at Clement is Thursday, June 21.
