Happy Friday, Junior Falcons!

News

  • Reminder: is today (Friday, April 26).  We will be showing Earth to Echo and the fun begins at 3 p.m. - please join us! But remember, a permission slip is needed.
  • The City School District of ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ - along with the City of ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ and New York State - observed Arbor Day here at NAMS on Friday and, with the help of our students and support from community partners, planted 40 trees on our property. Highlights from the event can be found here and pictures of our agriculture students digging and getting dirty will be in the Quarter 3 newsletter (which will be mailed home with report cards early next week).
  • April is Autism Acceptance Month and in honor of the national recognition, Lois Gaines’ students are celebrating their individuality with an art and career exhibition next  Each student designed a digital book about themselves and created accompanying art that highlights their personality and goals. and look forward to showing off their hard work next Tuesday!
  • Please join us for the unveiling of our newest murals at North ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ Middle School on Wednesday, May 1 from 4-5 p.m. All students, staff, families and community members are welcome. 
  • Help wanted! The PTA is requesting that parents/guardians   You can also support the PTA by registering to donate your time/money/items for the  Sign up today!
  • Mark your calendars! All students will be offered the opportunity to attend our grade-level field trips. We will leave at 7 a.m. and return at 7 p.m. Bagged breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please mark your calendars. Please be on the look out for permission slips.

  • Join the Vegetable Project - an organziation that provides hands-on outdoor education here at NAMS and throughout the district - for its annual fundraiser, , on May 7 from 5:30-7 p.m.
  • The ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ Booster Club – which, among other things, supports athletic, arts and JROTC funding – needs adult volunteers to run the concession stand during home games this spring on the turf field.
