Soak up ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ High jazz at community shows

If you haven’t yet experienced an ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ jazz performance, you’ll have several opportunities to attend free shows in the community during May and June.

ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ High has two jazz ensembles: The Jazzmanian Devils (advanced group) and the B Flats (intermediate group). Both are under the direction of John Halvorsen.

Their community performances are as follows:

Friday, May 6 - Jazzmanian Devils play Spinners, 22 Picotte Drive, 7-10 p.m.

Thursday, May 26 - B Flats play the garden at the ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ Public Library Bach branch, 455 New Scotland Ave., 6-7:30 p.m.

Thursday, June 2 - Jazzmanian Devils and Chamber Choir play the garden at the ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ Public Library Bach branch, 455 New Scotland Ave., 6-7:30 p.m.

Friday, June 3 - Jazzmanian Devils play the ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ Public Library Pine Hills branch, 517 Western Ave., 6:30-7:30 p.m. (opening for an art show)

All performances are free and open to the public.
