We went red!

City School District of ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ employees wear red in recognition of the American Heart Association campaign.

Thanks to all our staff   in support of the American Heart Association’s , which the organization describes as, "a platform designed to increase women's heart health awareness and serve as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally."

Go Red Day was officially Friday, Feb. 4 but due to the snow day, the City School District of ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ moved its observation to Monday.

Known as the silent killer, or hypertension, high blood pressure typically has no symptoms, but can lead to deadly health consequences such as heart attack, stroke and kidney failure. The Check It! Challenge is an evidence-based hypertension management program empowering participants to take ownership of their health using blood pressure self-monitoring. The Check It!
