The City School District of ÉðÊ¿Âþ» welcomed students from prekindergarten through ninth grade Tuesday to the start of the 2017-18 school year.
And on Wednesdsay it will be all-in as students in grades 10-12 at ÉðÊ¿Âþ» officially begin the school year.
On Tuesday, State Education Commissioner MaryEllen Elia and Board of Regents member Josephine Finn joined Superintendent Kaweeda G. Adams as the day began at ÉðÊ¿Âþ» International Center, the school district’s new program for refugee and immigrant students.
In the meatime, ÉðÊ¿Âþ» High held its annual Freshman First Day to help new students learn their way around the building.
Elsewhere in the district, friends old and new were acquainted and reacquainted.
