The Board of Education has appointed Amelia Gallagher to assume the role of assistant principal at Delaware Community School effective Aug. 27.
Gallagher joins the City School District of ÉðÊ¿Âþ» after having served in an administrative capacity at ÉðÊ¿Âþ»’s LaSalle School since 2016. Previously she supervised special programs for Washington-Saratoga-Warren-Hamilton-Essex (WSWHE) BOCES, after having spent nearly 15 years working in guidance as both a counselor and then director.
Gallagher earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University at ÉðÊ¿Âþ», and received her administrative certification from The College of Saint Rose.
She replaces former Delaware Assistant Principal Steve Moguel, who resigned earlier this year after accepting an administrative position out-of-state.
Please join us in welcoming Gallagher to our district!
