Eight ÉðÊ¿Âþ» seniors donned authentic Dutch clothing and shoes on Friday, helping Mayor Kathy Sheehan usher in the start of the annual Tulip Festival with the scrubbing of State Street.
The students are Gail Cabahug, Juliette Geraghty, Erin Lippitt, Laura Marin, Calena Rodriguez, Abigail Scheuermann, Sarha Smith-Moyo and Ashma Thapa. They had the opportunity to represent their school and the city wearing the Dutch outfits, which are cleaned, maintained and stored by the City Club of ÉðÊ¿Âþ».
Tulip Fest 2018 continues through the weekend in Washington Park. The City School District of ÉðÊ¿Âþ» will have a booth there – stop by to say hello!
