ÉðÊ¿Âþ»’s Class of 2017 gained 21 new members on Aug. 22 as students crossed the stage to receive their diplomas during summer graduation.

The most recent graduates successfully completed ÉðÊ¿Âþ» High’s summer school program, which is just one of many programs offered by the City School District of ÉðÊ¿Âþ» helping students stay on track academically.

Surrounded by friends, family and staff, the seniors celebrated their accomplishments and prepared to embark on the next chapters of their lives.

As they do so, ÉðÊ¿Âþ» High assistant house principal and summer school coordinator Suzann Cornell offered words of encouragement.

“You will experience the enormous joy in creating your own life and enjoying the benefits of it. Of course, there will be challenges ahead, but when you are determined to succeed you will handle anything that gets in your way. I hope you create a future that you are completely passionate about; certainly you deserve it,” Cornell said.

Congratulations to these graduating Falcons for their hard work and perseverance!
