ÉðÊ¿Âþ» High seniors earn National Merit semifinalist status

National Merit semifinalist status

ÉðÊ¿Âþ» seniors Matan Adler and Max Heller have been named semifinalists in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Competition.

Their outstanding scores on the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test placed them in the top 1 percent of the 1.6 million students nationwide who took the test. (Adler, left, and Heller are pictured with ÉðÊ¿Âþ» Interim Principal Dale Getto).

In order for the students to become finalists for a scholarship, they must have outstanding academic records throughout high school, be endorsed and recommended by the high school principal and earn SAT scores that confirm their earlier performance on the qualifying test. National Merit Scholarships are awarded in the spring.

Congratulations to both students and great job!
