ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ High Select Choir earns silver at music fest

The ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­ Select Choir earned a silver rating Thursday at the New York State School Music Association Choral Festival.

Under the direction of teacher Brendan Hoffman, the group performed “The Ground,” by Ola Gjeilo, “Tota Pulchra Es,” by Ola Gjeilo and “Ezekiel Saw the Wheel,” arranged by William Dawson.

The music they performed was designated Level VI, meaning that it is extremely complex and challenging. Programs are graded as “bronze,” “silver” and “gold.”
