Experience the remarkable talents of City School District of ÉðÊ¿Âþ» teachers at a Jan. 24 concert and art exhibit.
The ÉðÊ¿Âþ» Friends of Music will host its annual Music Faculty Concert at 7 p.m. on Jan. 24 in the ÉðÊ¿Âþ» auditorium, with music teachers from throughout the district performing solo and together. You also can check out a gallery of work by district art teachers in the ÉðÊ¿Âþ» High lobby before or after the concert.
The event is free and open to all. Students (and families) will get a chance to see their teachers in the spotlight, for a change of pace.
Although the event is free, ÉðÊ¿Âþ» Friends of Music will hold raffles and sell merchandise and refreshments. All money raised will be returned to programs that support district students.
Also at the event, ÉðÊ¿Âþ» Friends of Music will unveil its new logo and recognize the ÉðÊ¿Âþ» High artist who created it as part of an October logo-design contest.
