Falcons jump, run to Sectional success

Student athletes participate in the hurdles and the long jump at Sectionals.

Falcons represent!

Three individuals and one relay team scored for ÉðÊ¿Âþ»­'s indoor track team at Saturday's Sectional competition at Hudson Valley Community College.

Congratulations to:

First Place

  • Malachi Young (55m hurdles)
  • Samir Gardner (long jump)

Third Place

  • Patrick Ponzo, Daaron Harrell, Gardner and Young (4x200m relay)

Sixth Place

  • Noah Bizer (1000m)

Next Sunday, members of the team will participate in this season's final invitational at Springfield College. If they hit a standard in Springfield, they will advance to State Qualifiers and, potentially, New York State's Championship Meet.
