ÉðÊ¿Âþ» the AP Program

The Advanced Placement (AP) program gives ÉðÊ¿Âþ» High students the chance to tackle college-level work while they’re still in high school. A student who takes an AP class and performs well on the AP exam at the end of the course can earn college credit and possibly bypass required introductory college courses.

AP courses are created for the College Board by a panel of experts and college-level educators in that field of study. The College Board provides ÉðÊ¿Âþ» High teachers with the AP curriculum.

AP exams and fees

Students enrolled in AP courses are expected to take the AP examination in May and submit all required assessment components.  You will be charged an examination fee for each AP course you are enrolled in. A fee reduction may be available based on financial need. Students must take the AP exam associated with the course in order to receive potential credit for the course. Failure to do so will result in an inability to gain credit for course work.

AP courses we offer

ÉðÊ¿Âþ» High offers AP courses in English, world language, math, science, social studies and the arts.
